There are many ways that you gate can be opened. Here are brief descriptions of some of the more popular ones with some pictures included:-
Remotes
– Our 2/4 button remotes can open your gate system at the push of a button from around 50meters away, their small design makes them ideal for having on your key ring or even in your car.
Keypads – Our12 button keypads can be sited in the position of your choice, and programmed with up to 20 codes to open your gate system.
Ground Loops –
The ground loop is buried into the ground near to the entrance way and detects when a vehicles is present, these are ideal for using on the inner side of the gate to let vehicles out. Timers can also be installed onto them to limit opening times.
GSM
Intercom – The GSM intercom is an ideal way of connecting your gate system to the phone of your choice. Using a mobile phone network it can dial your home phone so you can communicate with visitors. The benefit of this system is you don’t need any extra handsets in your home, and no cables need to be installed linking your house to the gate system.
GSM Key –
Ideal for farm gates or remote entrances, the GSM Key is a mobile phone number you can call to let you in. They can be programmed to only let in phone numbers of your choice.
Key Fobs and readers – You can restrict access to your premises by issuing out key fobs that let you in. Just present your fob to the reader and it will let you in. The readers can also be computer linked so you can track who has been in and out of your premises and have a built in 12 button keypad for entry codes.
IR Vehicle Readers – These can be fitted to the Gate post and in vehicles of your choice to automatically open the gate system with out even pushing a button.
Push Button – A simple push button can be installed to open your gate system. May different sizes and shapes of push button are available.
Timer – A programmable timer can be fitted to your system to open and close the gates at certain parts of the day/week.
